The ski slope offers in wintertime entertainment for snow sports enthusiasts. On Saca Mare, a part of the Southwestern side of the Gurghiu Mountain (1774m), at an altitude of 1230 m, alongside a 1200-meter-long ski trail with a chairlift, there is also a 350-meter-long trail, a tubing and sledding track. The Repas cabin, located in the upper part of the Aluniş Ski Slopes, offers a place to warm up after skiing, as well as restaurant and accommodation. Snow guns provide excellent skiing conditions, depending on the temperature, can ski from the beginning of December until the beginning of March. Since 2005, Salvamont Salvaspeo Mures provides mountain rescue services. The ski slopes are easiest to reach from the spa resort, trough the valley of the Sebeş stream, even with a small car. In case of heavy snowfall, do not forget the snow chains at home!
