Transylvanian Grill & BBQ Camp

The Transylvanian Grill & BBQ Camp is a meeting place for those who not only love great BBQ but are also curious about what goes on behind the scenes.

Techniques, ingredients, experience, professional discussions, live cooking and, of course, tastings — all in an environment where you can get up close, ask questions, talk to the experts and exchange ideas.

This year’s Camp features two distinct days.

 FRIDAY – NOVEMBER 13

Combined BBQ & Steak Workshop led by Radu Zărnescu and Szabi Lengyel – Food’Venture

A full day for those who want to gain a deeper understanding of BBQ and steak preparation, from selecting and preparing the ingredients to mastering different techniques, temperatures and timing, all the way to the finished dish.

The limited number of participants is intentional: it allows everyone to follow the cooking processes up close, ask questions, engage in discussions and take home practical, valuable experience.

The participation fee also includes a tasting wristband for Saturday’s event.

Saturday’s Camp brings together producers, suppliers, chefs and the public — everyone who plays a part in the world of grill and BBQ, from the ingredients to the finished dish.

Throughout the day, food will be prepared continuously at multiple stands. Get a close-up look at how different BBQ pitmasters and chefs work, discover the techniques they use, ask questions, talk to the experts, exchange ideas and experiences, and, of course, sample the dishes prepared at the stands.

The wristband includes admission to Saturday’s Camp programme and participation in the tastings.

 Places are limited. On-site ticket sales will only be available if places remain after advance sales, so purchasing tickets in advance is recommended.

Tickets purchased at the venue can only be paid for in cash.

Alongside the Camp, a BBQ-themed market will also welcome visitors, with free admission.
