The Sound and the Fury

Noise and Fury is an experimental project initiated by Iordache and Oigăn in 2015, which has undergone several very different reincarnations in Bucharest, Cluj, and on the coast. What has remained constant is its avant-garde and relatively bizarre nature.

Noise and Fury was reborn as a musical-performance action this year, with two concerts at Zadar Bar – an essential venue of Bucharest's musical avant-garde – and at Gourmet Pub, a true oasis of creative music in Galați.

Saxophonist Iordache played with Harry Tavitian and Corneliu Stroe's Creativ groups in the '80s, with Sarmalele Reci, Jazz Unit (the Bucharest group of pianist Lucian Ban, before his emigration to the USA), and with Ada Milea in the '90s. In 2003, he formed his own jazz group named Iordache and has been a member of the rock band Kumm since then.

Oigăn is the guitarist and, alongside Kovacs Andras, founder of the rock group Kumm, leader of the band Moon Museum, performs under his own name, and has been collaborating for several years with the band Robin And The Backstabbers.
