MUSEUMS' NIGHT

The Mureș County Museum invites you on Saturday, May 18, 2024, to the most important museum event of the year - the Night of Museums 2024. We await you, as every year, with new exhibitions, concerts, guided tours, activities for children, and other special programs in museum spaces and in 30 partner spaces.

This year, the event reaches its XVIII edition locally and will take place in the following spaces of the Mureș County Museum:
-The Palace of Culture and the Art Section
-The Natural Sciences Section - 24 Horea Street
-The Ethnography and Folk Art Section - Toldalagi Palace in Trandafirilor Square, 11
-The History and Archaeology Section - The museum building in the Târgu Mureș Citadel

The full program of the event will soon be available on the museum's website www.muzeulmures.ro. The ticket price / Night of Museums 2024 bracelet: adults and seniors - 10 lei; students - 2 lei. Persons with disabilities - free of charge.

Tickets can be purchased online starting May 1, 2024, from the museum's website, and on the day of the event, Night of Museums 2024 bracelets can be purchased only from the Mureș County Museum visiting spaces.

Initiated 19 years ago by the Ministry of Culture and Communication of France, patronized by the Council of Europe, UNESCO, and the International Council of Museums, the Night of Museums is organized annually at the European level, and in Romania by the National Network of Museums (RNMR). Museums and cultural institutions from dozens of European countries and beyond light up their lights and open their doors on the same night.
