Swimming pools, sports fields (football, volleyball, tennis, basketball, teqball) offer active recreation possibilities for all outdoorsy enthusiasts.  The swimming pool is open from Tuesday to Sunday. 

Outdoor pools, ideal for recreational swimming. The Apollo Wellness Club complex (outdoor) covers an area of 24,000 sq m and is known for its high-quality leisure services and activities. The swimming pool is considered one of the best known leisure centres in Mures County and Transylvania.

It is a wonderful experience to float gently on the surface of the salt water of the Bear Lake and admire the overwhelming beauty around. Due to its high salt content, it is the so-called Dead Sea of Transylvania. Due to its heliothermic effect, the surface of the lake warms up to 23-25 degrees Celsius in summer, while the deeper layers of water are warmest at a depth of 2 metres, often reaching 41 degrees Celsius, making it a pleasant place for swimming. 

Bear Lake is open every day of the week between 10am and 6pm, with a swimming break between 1pm and 3pm, which means you have to get out of the water but you can stay around without having to leave the premises. Prices for 2023 are: 45 lei/adults, 35 lei/pensioners and children.

The twin brother of Bear Lake, it lies hidden in a picturesque sinkhole, 60 m to the west of Bear Lake, and it was formed by water draining from Lake Ursu. Lake Aluniș is smaller, indeed, but just as beneficial and suitable for bathing during the summer season. Entrance fees are 35 lei for adults and 25 lei for children.

Both Bear Lake and Aluniș Lake are managed by the Ensana Health SPA Sovata Hotel.

The pool by the lake is an ideal place for swimming, as the water in the pool is heated, so the water temperature is pleasant from spring to autumn. Sun loungers and parasols are available to cool off in the summer heat. The swimming pool is open daily from 9:00 to 20:00, and the valid rates in 2023 are: 50 lei/day - sun lounger with mattress and parasol, 40 lei/day - seat, 25 lei/day - children up to 14 years. The municipal swimming pool in Reghin is located in the Youth Park and has several pools. It is open on Mondays from 14.00 to 20.00 and from Tuesday to Sunday from 9.00 to 20.00.

Only 6 km from Reghin you can find Ideciu de Jos spa resort, famous for its saltwater baths with 2 saltwater pools, whose curative properties have been known since Roman times. There is also mineral mud, a nudist area and a small sandy beach, and the surrounding green area invites you to relax. The pools are fed by salt springs with a concentration of 150 to 300 g salt/litre, are rich in iodine, calcium, fluorine, bromine, iron, magnesium and sulphur and are open to visitors from Monday to Sunday from 8.30 am to 9 pm.

The open-air swimming centre offers leisure activities for 1,500 bathing enthusiasts, with a gradually deepening Olympic-sized pool and sun loungers to make the summer heat more bearable.
