Mini Niraj visitor centre
Full description
If you're in the area, don't miss this new attraction in Mures County, and if you're not, well, you just have to come by all means. The visitor centre is in the building at the end of the narrow-gauge track on which Mocănița Steam Train runs from Sovata and it presents in a intricately made diorama the entire Niraj Valley, from the source to the mouth of the river Mureș.
The diorama is intended to highlight the tourist, natural and cultural attractions of Niraj Valley, including the Salt Land (Sovata-Praid), Călugăreni area and the Becheci Peak, all the way to Târgu Mureș, connecting scenes from traditional rural life typical of this region through several harmoniously interwoven trains and cars.
