The Salt Water Baths of Ideciu de Jos

Ideciu de Jos is famous especially for the salt water springs with curative properties, which are found here. The water has a salinity of 150 g salt per litre and feeds the three pools in the resort, with a depth varying between 1.20 - 1.60 m. The spa has been open since 1920, and both the salt water and the mineral mud are particularly suitable for treating rheumatological conditions. The salt baths of Ideciu de Jos are very popular with both locals and visitors living in the surrounding area.
