Ștefan Hrușcă's artistic journey began in 1981 when he joined the legendary Cenaclul Flacăra. In a span of just three years, between 1981 and 1984, Ștefan toured the country extensively, performing in over 1000 concerts, his warm voice touching the hearts of Romanians from all geographical regions of Romania. With his unique vocal timbre, unmistakable candor, and a presence of distinguished simplicity, Ștefan Hrușcă became one of the most beloved folk artists in Romania. Among his landmark albums are "Rugă pentru părinți" (1984), "Urare pentru îndrăgostiți" (1986), "Fostele iubiri" (1995), "Balade speciale" (2007), and, of course, the highly cherished albums of carols and Maramureșean songs.
