Csaba Sánta exhibition at the Mures County Museum
The Historical Department of the Mures County Museum is organizing a retrospective exhibition of the works of the sculptor Csaba Sánta Csaba 60, on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of his birth, between 12 October and 24 November 2024. The opening ceremony will take place on Saturday 12 October at 18:00 in the Mures County Museum in the castle building, in the presence of the artist. The opening will be addressed by Cora Fodor, art historian (Mures County Museum) and György Szücs, art historian (Hungarian National Gallery, Budapest).
Csaba Sánta sculptor born on 6 April 1964 in Szovátá
He graduated from the Art School of Târgu Mures in 1982.
He graduated from the "Ion Andreescu" College of Fine Arts, Cluj-Napoca, with a degree in sculpture in 1990.
His masters are Vince Bocskay, Levente Kiss, István Elekes, István Gergely, Jenő Korondi and Eugen Gocan
He is a member of the Romanian Association of Fine Artists, MAMŰ, MAOE, the Barabás Miklós Guild, and a founding member and president of the Endre Kusztos Art Association in Szováta. He regularly participates in national and international art festivals and exhibits in solo and group exhibitions. In 2020 he was awarded the EMKE Prize and in 2021 the Hungarian Academy of Arts Scholarship.
The temporary exhibition Csaba Sánta 60 is open until 24 November 2024 in the Museum's Castle building, from Tuesday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, and on Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 2 pm. Closed on Mondays. Admission: 15 lei for adults, 7 lei for pensioners and 3 lei for students.
