The fascinating and inexhaustible universe of Chekhov transposed on the stage of the "Liviu Rebreanu" Company by the director Sorin Militaru in a staging that is faithful to the text, but accessible to the contemporary audience.
"Uncle Vanya is one of Anton Pavlovich Chekhov's landmark plays.
Originally published in 1898 and staged for the first time ten years later at the Moscow Art Theatre, the Russian playwright's text tells the story of Professor Aleksandr Vladimirovich Serebriakov and his family.

The performance lasts 2 hours and 30 minutes (with a 15-minute intermission) and is recommended for ages 14 and over.

The performance will take place on Sunday, October 20, starting at 7 p.m. in the Great Hall
