The exhibition is organized in collaboration with the Ferenc Móra Museum in Szeged, Hungary, to whom we extend our special thanks for their generous partnership and outstanding professionalism.
After a remarkable success in Arad, where it was admired by a large audience, the exhibition now arrives in Târgu Mureș, offering visitors a fascinating journey into the heart of Ancient China.
What you will discover at the exhibition:
- Life-size replicas of the terracotta soldiers, faithfully reproduced based on the originals discovered in Xi'an
- Historical reconstructions and objects providing cultural, military, and artistic context from the Qin dynasty
- Multimedia elements that enhance the visitor experience, bringing to life one of the greatest archaeological discoveries of the 20th century
- Civilizations in Mirror: a dialogue between Ancient China and Ancient Europe
In parallel with this journey into Chinese civilization, the Mureș County Museum also proposes a comparative perspective on the world of the Celts — an initiative aiming to create a fascinating parallel between civilizations.
Visitors will have the opportunity to explore:
- The most famous Celtic warrior chieftain from the region, discovered in Ciumești
- Celtic funerary practices, such as inhumation and cremation
- Remarkable ritual objects generously provided by our partner museums
