Written in 1932, the play "Take, Ianke and Cadâr" by Victor Ion Popa stood the test of time and became one of the most popular and most staged interwar texts in Romanian dramatic literature.
The cast includes actors Liviu Pancu (Take), Dan Rădulescu (Ianke), Costin Gavază (Cadâr), Cristian Iorga (Ionel), Loredana Dascălu (Ana), Csaba Ciugulitu (Ițic), Cristina Holtzli (Baba Safta) and Ștefan Mura (Gypsy).
Directed by Nicu Mihoc, set design by Horațiu Mihaiu and technical direction by Teodora Crăciun.
Dan Rădulescu was honored for his performance with the Best Actor in a Leading Role Award at the National Comedy Festival in Galati in 2022.
The show lasts 2 hours and 15 minutes (with a 15-minute intermission) and is recommended for ages 14 and over.
