II. Theater Orienteering on the Hungarian Drama Day

Sep-21
For the second time, we invite all interested parties to an unusual literary exploration on September 21, starting at 19:00, as part of the II. THEATER ORIENTEERING, which will be held at the theater building. The event will take place on Hungarian Drama Day and serves as the opening event for the series celebrating the 80th season. We are looking for teams of 2-4 members who are eager to explore the hidden corners of the theater building and get acquainted with well-known and lesser-known works of Hungarian drama literature.
Teams entering the II. THEATER ORIENTEERING can register in two categories:
- Student/School (up to 12th grade – if all team members are students. University students can only register in the adult category!) or
- Adult (if a team includes both students and adults, the group will automatically be placed in the adult category.)
Teams participating in the ORIENTEERING
- Can explore the designated checkpoints within the theater area using a theater map, similar to traditional orienteering;
- At the checkpoints, they will listen to excerpts from plays read by actors of the Tompa Miklós Company and answer questions on the competition sheet received at the start of the orienteering. They may use aids (e.g., mobile phones) to complete the sheet;
- At the end of the event, participants can attend an awards ceremony combined with a concert by the TOMPA PILVAXER BAND, where winners will be announced in both categories.
To register – regardless of age – please provide the team name, list of team members, and category by filling out the document available here.
REGISTRATION DEADLINE: September 16, 15:00
Entry to the TOMPA PILVAXER BAND concert, starting at 21:00, is free and open to the public, regardless of participation in the Theater Orienteering.
We warmly welcome all interested parties!
