Opening Symphonic Concert of the Festival

The 55th edition of the “Târgu Mureș Musical Days” Festival will open with an extraordinary symphonic concert on Thursday, May 7, 2026.
The Târgu Mureș State Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra will be conducted by Anton Shaburov, and the soloist of the evening will be violinist Valentin Șerban.
The program will feature: Violin Concerto in A minor, Op. 82 by Aleksandr Glazunov and Symphony No. 2 in E minor, Op. 27 by Sergei Rachmaninoff.
