The Transylvania Triathlon Festival team strives to come up with something new every year. This year, we have decided to take advantage of the excellent conditions at Lake Bezid and, keeping up with the trends, we are organizing a SUP competition on July 6. As far as we know, such a competition has not been held in this region of the country before, making our SUP competition an absolute first. We would like to emphasize that our new initiative is supported by the Bioeel Company, which will reward the best competitors, both men and women, with significant cash prizes! Categories:
- Short distance: U18 (young people aged between 12 and 17) and 18+ – women and men
- Long distance: 18+ (people over 18) – women and men
Distances:
- Short distance: 1.5 km (1 lap)
- Long distance: 4.5 km (3 laps)
Registration fees:
- Period 01.06.-25.06.2024: 20 Euros
- Period 26.06.-02.07.2024: 30 Euros
Prizes: We will reward the top three finishers in each category with a diploma, medal, and sports equipment.
GRAND PRIZE! The male competitor with the best time among those registered for the long distance will also receive a cash prize of 500 Euros, offered by the Bioeel Company! The cash prize will be awarded if at least 20 competitors register in the long distance – men’s category.* The female competitor with the best time among those registered for the long distance will receive a cash prize of 500 Euros, offered by the Bioeel Company, provided that at least 20 competitors participate in the long distance – women’s category.* *If the minimum number of 20 participants is not reached in both categories, the best male and female competitors will each receive a cash prize of 250 Euros!

The event will be organized as part of the Transylvania Triathlon Festival 2024 - Friendship Series, the day before the three main triathlon championships.
