Shakespeare Caravan

𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐣𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐢̂𝐧 𝐂𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐚 𝐓𝐚̂𝐫𝐠𝐮 𝐌𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬̦ 𝐩𝐞 𝟓 𝐚𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞
Because today, March 27, is 𝐙𝐢𝐮𝐚 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐚̆ 𝐚 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐥𝐮𝐢, we come with good news from this sphere.
𝐅𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭̦𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐂𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐨𝐯𝐚 celebrates, this year, 30 years since the first edition and is caravanning through Romania. 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐞 left, Monday, March 25, from Radio Oltenia - Craiova and 𝐯𝐚 𝐚𝐣𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐢̂𝐧 𝐓𝐚̂𝐫𝐠𝐮 𝐌𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬̦, 𝐦𝐚𝐢 𝐞𝐱𝐚𝐜𝐭, 𝐢̂𝐧 𝐂𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐚 𝐓𝐚̂𝐫𝐠𝐮 𝐌𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬̦, 𝐩𝐞 𝟓 𝐚𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞.
From 25 March to 30 April, for 5 weeks, the Shakespeare Caravan will present the premiere in 𝟑𝟎 𝐝𝐞 𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐬̦𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐧 𝐭̦𝐚𝐫𝐚̆, the outdoor show "𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐥𝐮𝐢 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐞" in 45 minutes. The show is created by the National Theatre "Marin Sorescu" in Craiova and presented for the first time by 3 actors who travel around the country in a van to bring Shakespeare from the heart of the theatre community in Craiova to the heart of the communities in each city they pass through. The aim is to share a glimpse of the young, fresh and non-conformist spirit of the Craiova International Shakespeare Festival, one of Europe's leading thematic festivals and among the world's leading Shakespeare festivals.
𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥 𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐛𝐞𝐫, and participants in the show have the opportunity to enter a competition, which could win them one of two weekends for two at the 14th International Shakespeare Festival, to be held from 16-26 May 2024 in Craiova.
Târgu Mureș is the 10th city where the caravan will stop, and will then move on to Piatra Neamț.
