Rosetta and the Comet

The audience in Târgu Mureș has had countless occasions to see the theatrical productions of Csaba Kiss, and his plays have been staged by several Transylvanian theatres. Now, he presents a special volume of dramas. The title play, Judas Remains Silent, explores an unspoken theme — informing — through the perspectives of family members and friends. Dangerous Liaisons is a contemporary stage adaptation of the well-known French Rococo epistolary novel, with its devilish cycles of intrigue and seduction.

The third play in the volume, Rosetta and the Comet, is a theatrical novelty: it presents a real space mission, condensing twelve years of events and excitement into the framework of a theatrical evening. The actors of the Tompa Miklós Company will present this cosmic adventure in the form of a staged reading. The text will be enriched by the moving images of video designer Dávid Maruscsák.
