Two couples, two different life stages, one common denominator: infidelity. When communication leaves something to be desired and the inherent problems are not dealt with in time, marital relationships can slide into the most unpredictable, impossible and irresistible entanglements.
Greg, Ginny, Sheila and Philip don't know each other - on the surface - but invisible threads get tangled and turn their lives upside down on a lovely, harmless summer's day. What can be salvaged from the situation, it remains to be seen: pleasant illusions for the "benefit" of appearances or inconvenient truth in the service of truth? Is a couple's relationship just an increasingly outdated social convention, or is it based on a genuine feeling of love and mutual trust?
Alan Ayckbourn's play smacks of the best of authentic British humor, and the message he tries to convey in a roundabout way is that we can poke fun and take note, but don't try it at home: while everything is relative, the bill can be stinging in the most concrete way possible.

Director Claudiu Goga returns to the "Liviu Rebreanu" Company (after the success of his production of "Ivanov" by A.P. Chekhov) with a show that is both a wake-up call and a genuine laughter therapy.
