Prayer after war
"I'm going out to the battlefield of Doberdo..."
Dance pictures in memory of the victims of the First World War
This war is one of the most traumatic events in Hungarian history. The stones of remembrance are there in almost every Hungarian village and town in the form of imposing monuments and statues. Every village keeps a record of the names of the fallen.
An important element of the dance play is the Hungarian lyrics on the war theme, which experience and document these atrocities as a contemporary and document them with the power of art. The war diaries written in the trenches and the war memoirs of front-line soldiers are a real thrill, evoking the horrors of war and recalling the wars that defined the lives of our grandfathers. For we remember the lost, man and country.
We have created this dance piece with great heart and love, we recommend it to the older generation, who know more about the sufferings of war than we do, but we definitely recommend it to the young, for whom this is history, but learning about the horrible world of war through art makes the values and joys of our peaceful world more precious and valuable.
