The Devils Casting show is a story invented and directed by Radu Afrim, and the creators of the text of the show are the cast members themselves.
It is about a successful businessman from the province Miklós Levente Ördög (Miklós Levente Drac), who wants to organize a memorable gala show for the birthday of his son, little Ricsi.
The anniversary gala is preceded by a recruitment of performers (casting), and a series of rehearsals, which take place in a once-paradised cultural home. The participants are some strange figures, who in turn present themselves at the casting with a unique repertoire. Of course, their performance also has a stake: the production most loved by little Ricsi will be rewarded and will win the grand prize of five thousand euros.
