Opera in concert

On Thursday, 4 December 2025, at 7:00 PM, in the Grand Hall of the Palace of Culture – an iconic venue for major artistic events – a remarkable opera performance will take place.
The event is organized in partnership with TVR Târgu Mureș and the Mureșul Artistic Ensemble.
The musical direction will be entrusted to maestro David Crescenzi, a distinguished figure of both national and international opera stages.
The cast brings together the following soloists:
• Borsos Edith – Tosca
• György Levente – Scarpia
• Florin Guzgă – Cavaradossi
alongside Julius Schulmeister, Molnár Zoltán, Corneliu Huțanu, and Szabó Levente in supporting roles.
The Mixed Choir and the Symphony Orchestra of the Târgu Mureș State Philharmonic – leading ensembles of the local musical scene – will also take part in the performance.
The evening’s programme features Giacomo Puccini’s masterpiece Tosca, one of the defining creations of the universal operatic repertoire.
