NEXUS - The 1st International Contemporary Dance Festival of Târgu Mureș

We are delighted to announce the first edition of **NEXUS – International Contemporary Dance Festival**, taking place in September 2026. Over the course of three days, the festival aims to become a key event for contemporary dance, professional dialogue and community building.
NEXUS is a professional and community platform connecting Romanian universities, national and international dance artists, companies, teachers, students, and audiences interested in contemporary dance.
The festival seeks to encourage artistic dialogue, exchange of experience and professional collaboration, while creating an open space where movement, ideas and people can come together.
The festival programme is open to everyone interested in expanding their professional knowledge, gaining new experiences or exploring the diverse world of contemporary dance. We warmly welcome dance educators, professional and amateur dancers, university students, actors, as well as children and adults who are open to movement, art and community experiences.
