JERÓNIMO MAYA (Spain)
Jerónimo Maya, a real guitar genius, and a direct descendant from the guitarist Ramón Montoya, started his musical career at the early age of 5. He was immediately recognized as a gifted child by the audience and the flamenco community, and whose worth was recognized by great masters, such as Sabicas or Paco de Lucia. His playing is full of personality and character, as well as virtuosity. His complex harmonies and his conception of music are definitely forward-thinking. He has accompanied many singers: Diego el Cigala, Chano Lobato, Esperanza Fernández, Estrella Morente, José de la Tomasa, and more frequently his uncle Ricardo Losada el Yunque, Ginesa Ortega or Paco del Pozo, as well as sharing stage with artists such as Paco de Lucia, Camarón de la isla or Sabicas, who were friends as well as colleagues.

RYCARDO MORENO (Spain)
Born in Lebrija, Seville, in 1981, Rycardo Moreno has worked as a musical producer, arranger, composer and guitarist. Gerardo Nuñez discovered him and he decided to launch his career as a solo guitarist, becoming his godfather. His first solo work is called “Varekai” and the second one “Agaleano”, both edited by the label Nuba Karonte. He has worked with quality artists such as Concha Buika, Arcángel, Esperanza Fernández, Jorge Pardo, El Lebrijano, Lole Montoya, Alba Molina, Juan de Juan, Raimundo Amador, Javier Ruibal, Montse Cortés, Guadiana, Josemi Carmona, José Valencia, Yelsi Heredia, etc. After presenting his work in New York city, Moreno dives into the recording of his solo album “Varekai”. After the performance of Varekai in the guitar festival “Gerardo Nuñez”, the master notices him and makes the realease of the album possible in 2015. In “Varekai” we can hear a moreno that imposes patio gypsy meetings, imagining sevillian suburbs that open their windows to the 21st century trhough the voice of esperanza fernández, approaching two other rupturists and profesional communicators with new talentes like Lin Cortés and Guadiana to approach a flamenco-chill version of flamenco, and flamenco gospel, develops stories in lonelyness, with delays, echoes and acousmatic music to fly, develops a new way for the solea in between the arabic-andalusi influence or the romani folk music through the eyes of Pedro Aznar, Ludovico Einaudi or Pat Metheny and the jazz standards; at the same time he impacts a branch of flamenco jazz that contacts with different latino rhythms, from the tango to bolero, brasilian influenced bulerias or the son and mabo. A mural of patches of color so improvised and impulsive as part of a plan for mixt art. The album has been presented in prestigious places as the Rome Philharmonie, Cabo Verde Festival “Cidade Velha”, Israel Mediterranean Festival, and the Bienal of Flamenco of Sevilla, among other places. Rycardo Moreno presents us his last work, Agaleano, conceived as a tribute to uruguayan writer “Eduardo Galeano”, departing from his Libro de los Abrazos book. According to moreno, “El Libro de los Abrazos was impregnated with music and you only had to decode it”, and so he started working and he achieved a narrative form: “Galeano ́s composition takes the structure of introduction, body and end, in three blocks of approximately 20 min each, where music ties one story with the other in a very natural way”. The results are 12 literature compositions with avant-garde flamenco using 10 Eduardo Galeano short stories. Lyrics are transformed into music and claim, primary flamenco expressions of the people. The guitar of Rycardo Moreno has been well accompanied in the CD, with great collaborators: the voice of Sandra Carrasco, the accordion of portuguese artist Joao Frade , the diversity of instruments of Poti Trujillo and the surprising corporal percussion by Rycardo himself currently, after achieving success from both the public and the critics in the flamenco festival “ñ”, Rycardo Moreno is going on a tour to USA, the Nederlands, Barcelona, and other tour dates to confirm.

PEPE FERNÁNDEZ (France)
Pepe Fernandez is a guitarist born in France, in a gypsy family from Granada. The rhythmic sense and the creative capacity of this young guitarist are truly astonishing. At the age of eight he begins to play the guitar under the teaching of his father, becoming clear since the very first moment the innate qualities of the boy with the instrument, taking him to share stage with renowned artists of the actual flamenco scene, such as José Maya, David de Jacoba, Rubio de Pruna at an early age.
