LILI BARONESS
Operetta in two acts
Young Count Illésházy László inherited only debts. The family castle is purchased by Baron Malomszegi and they move in with his daughter, Lili. László is about to leave when the new owners arrive. Lili takes László for the castle's butler, and he willingly plays along, not only because, as a playwright, he finds such situations intriguing, but also because he is enchanted by the young girl at first sight. Baron Malomszegi, believing that money can buy anything, wants to marry his daughter to the young Count Illésházy. However, no one suspects that the new butler is the Count himself. In the "situation" of Lili Baroness, everyone wants someone - each other and yet the same. Huszka Jenő's wonderful operetta dream, enriched with great hits, leads between the extremes of passion and comedy.
