The figure of Matthias Corvinus is one of the most outstanding personalities in our history, and in the world of folk tales he is also a beloved and remarkable character.
As we prepare to mark the 563rd anniversary of his accession to the throne, we have revived three of the children’s favorite stories about Matthias: “The Judge of Cluj”, “Once There Was a Dog Fair in Buda”, and “The Truth-Telling Shepherd”.
