Advent Mood with the Karaván band (HU)
Nov-29
Let’s get into the holiday spirit together — children and adults alike — through the joy of singing together!
We warmly invite you to the Karaván band’s Advent concert, “May Your Dream Be Beautiful!”, on Saturday, November 29, at 6 PM, at the Reformed Church on Stefan cel Mare Street.
The Cluj-based group welcomes children, families, and everyone who would like to relive the childlike joy and atmosphere of Christmas, with children’s songs, musical settings of poems, and communal singing.
Kindergarten and primary school groups are also warmly welcome.
Admission to the concert is free, but donations are kindly accepted as a gesture of appreciation for the performers.
About the ensemble:
Karaván was formed in 2001 by the youth of the Reformed Church of Mănăștur in Cluj-Napoca. They first became known for their musical settings of poems and performances at youth events, and over the years — now as parents — they turned toward children’s music.
Their lyrics are mostly based on children’s poetry, close to nature and human experience, with a warm and uplifting atmosphere. Their music gently blends elements of folk, traditional, and light contemporary styles, creating an intimate yet joyful, community-building mood at every concert.
