"The Creators of Renting" is indeed an autobiographical work written with commendable honesty, thus providing the most authentic portrayal possible of the life of a Transylvanian Hungarian technical intellectual during the second half of the 20th century and the first decades of the 21st.
While writing his own life story, György Virág relied almost entirely on his memories and experiences, seeking to reveal himself as openly as possible, with the undeniable intention that if someone reads his text, they will better understand their own and, consequently, the thinking and attitudes of their peers towards a system that cannot be described as particularly humane.
György Virág is welcomed and the book is praised by the evening's host, László Borbély, while the editor of the book, István Káli Király, discusses the author's experiences and insights with him.
