Sometimes a child is adopted, but can you adopt a grandpa? Or a grandchild?
 Gabi doesn’t have a grandfather, so he decides to find one. He goes from house to house until, at the very last house in the village, he meets a grumpy old man living alone, who immediately sends him away.

But Gabi doesn’t give up. Sooner or later, he manages not only to receive cookies and pocket money from the old man, like a proper grandchild, but also discovers – to his great pride – what his “grandpa” is a world champion at.

A touching and adventurous story about two people finding each other, with flying paper kites, cherry-pit spitting contests and lots of whistling.
