Fedák Sári – Szűcs Nelli's solo evening

Apr-02
SZŰCS NELLI, ARTIST OF THE BUDAPEST NATIONAL THEATRE, AT THE SPECTRUM THEATRE
On Wednesday, April 2nd, at 7 PM, the actress will delight the audience in Vásárhely with her stage performance Fedák Sári.
Fedák Sári was born in Beregszász. She was an actress, singer, and prima donna, as well as the second wife of writer Ferenc Molnár, and one of the greatest stage figures of the 20th century. The performance pays tribute to her extraordinary life and seeks to provide reparation for the injustices suffered by this exceptional artist.
The memorial evening will also feature songs from her most famous roles, bringing to life the legendary figure of Hungarian operetta. Her remarkable personality and exceptional individuality left an indelible mark on the history of Hungarian theatre.
The actress bringing Fedák Sári to life, Szűcs Nelli, is a member of the Budapest National Theatre. She, too, was born in Beregszász, and her roots tie her to this city, just like her great predecessor. With extraordinary empathy and sensitivity, she revives and presents this great artist on stage in her true essence, with all her admirable human qualities, flaws, and weaknesses.
Tickets can be purchased at the Spectrum Theatre box office (open weekdays from 9 AM to 1 PM) or before the performance.
