The Sky and the Earth

The Transylvanian House of Traditions Foundation organizes concerts titled "The sky and the Earth" in several cities this year as well.
Folk tradition holds the events of Holy Week in high regard, where death and suffering are present, yet so are resurrection and glorification, which dissolve them.
The heavenly, sacred compositions of Holy Week sung by the choir are complemented by earthly folk art. Beyond spiritual relief, the concert offers everyone an opportunity for introspection, deepening into the mysteries of Holy Week and Easter, and promises to be a true musical delight. The catharsis, the liberation, can be brought to all of us by Easter.
In Târgu Mureș, we await the interested parties at the Fortress Church on March 28th, starting from 5 p.m., for our Maundy Thursday concert. The Cantuale Vocal Ensemble and the Tokos band will perform.
