The Birth of a Dictator (HU)

Every dictator is, somewhere deep down, a clown.
He performs a parody of democracy and of a well-functioning society. He embodies both the traits of the ridiculous little man and those of a dangerously unhinged madman. And every dictator lulls his followers to sleep with a bedtime story, one in which he is the hero who saves his people again and again from the evil dragon.

The Birth of a Dictator is a simple story about a creator who gradually comes to understand how the world works and recognizes his own role within it. In Galló Ernő’s powerful performance, both the anxious little man searching for his place and the seed of the terrifying tyrant come to life, slowly guiding us into a very dark tale. It is up to us whether we choose to follow.
