Cycling in the footsteps of history: from the Medieval Fortress to Haller Castle

We warmly invite you to a special cultural and sports event: a cycling tour from the Medieval Fortress of Târgu Mureș to the magnificent Haller Castle!
The tour will take place on September 20, 2025.
About the tour:
The total distance is 33.1 km – perfect for an enjoyable bike ride.
Along the route, you’ll discover fascinating details about the culture of the Târgu Mureș Fortress and the history of Haller Castle.
The tour is organized by the Ski and Bicycle Association, with the support of the Mureș County Council.
A minimum donation of 50 RON per participant is required, which supports the event’s organization. This amount includes the guided tour, lunch, and the cultural presentation.

Program:
- 10:00 – Meeting at the fortress promenade
- 10:10 – Fortress presentation
- 11:00 – Departure towards Haller Castle
- 14:00 – Arrival and lunch
- 15:00 – Haller Castle presentation
- 16:00 – Free time
- 18:22 – Return by train (train ticket price: 10 RON, not included in the event fee). Sportier participants may also cycle back.
