Exciting Programs Await You at the Mureș County Museum During the Festival!
Exhibitions:
  • At the museum's castle building: "Polcz Alaine 100 – World Game," "ORATIO," "STUDIO ET COLLECTIO – 400 Years of Reformed Colleges in Transylvania," and "The Key City."
  • At the Cultural Palace: "Bernády György. Systems of Relations and Networks."
Thematic guided tours in Hungarian and Romanian every day.
Family Programs and Activities for Adults:
  • All-day creative children’s workshops at the tents in front of the building.
  • Nostalgia: Old photographs from the museum's photo archive.

August 29, 2024, Thursday
  • 10:00 – Castle Walk: Hungarian-language tour to explore the landmarks of the early modern Marosvásárhely castle. The walk will be led by Zalán Győrfi, a museum staff member. Meeting point: in front of the Castle Church.
  • 17:00 – Guided Tour of "Bernády György. Systems of Relations and Networks" exhibition. After several years, the permanent exhibition, known to the Marosvásárhely audience as the Bernády Room, has reopened at the Cultural Palace. It can be viewed for the first time during the festival as part of a guided tour. The tour will be conducted by János Orbán/Dorottya Újvári, museum staff members. Meeting point: at the entrance of the exhibition.

Our colleague, Dorottya Újvári, photo historian, will talk about the background work in the Photo Archive, the development, processing, and digitization of each collection, showcasing some notable photographs and albums.
