**Worlds shaped from clay, traditions born in our hands!
This year marks the fourth edition of the **Transylvanian Celebration of Crafts**, taking place from **September 18–20 at the Medieval Fortress of Târgu Mureș**.
Centuries of knowledge, the imprint of master craftsmen and respect for the past come together at this special event, bringing the most beautiful face of Transylvanian folk culture to life. We aim not only to preserve the heritage of our ancestors, but to transform it into a living tradition that continues to evolve while remaining true to its roots. The knowledge of traditional crafts is a treasure that survives only through practice – and this is the flame we strive to keep alive and pass on.
This year, **CLAY** takes centre stage. This ancient material creates a unique connection between people and nature and has shaped our everyday lives for centuries. The rich world of pottery and ceramics will be present throughout the programme: wheel-thrown vessels, decorated objects, as well as traditional and contemporary ceramics will showcase the beauty of this craft.
Visitors will not only have the opportunity to admire the creations of skilled artisans, but also to try different techniques themselves: **throwing on the pottery wheel, decorating and painting with traditional tools** – discovering the magic of shaping clay through hands-on experience.
The programme includes **craft demonstrations, hands-on workshops, a traditional crafts fair, pottery and ceramic demonstrations, a themed exhibition, professional presentations, folk music performances and concerts**.
