COOLTOUR – PALACE
Don’t make plans. We’ll make them for you.
From 2 PM to 10 PM, we’re bringing together things that seem to be quietly tucked away in different drawers: painting and music, local history and dance, heritage and board games, artists and communities, exhibitions and an unpredictable pinch of the unexpected.
And we’ll see what comes out of it.
Cooltour-Palace is an afternoon and evening where you might drop in for a concert and suddenly find yourself standing in front of a painting you genuinely want to know everything about. You can come for a board game, then stumble upon a guided tour that shows you the Palace from a perspective you never would have thought of. You can watch dance, listen to music, drop by an exhibition opening, or see a blank white canvas turn into a work of art right before your eyes during a live painting performance.
There will be guided tours too, but not quite the way you’re used to them.
We’ll talk about painting, music and the Palace itself, starting from the things that spark our curiosity: tiny details you may never have noticed before, good stories, familiar faces, events and connections that link the Târgu Mureș of yesterday with the city we know today.
Because local history can be really cool when you don’t keep it at arm’s length.
Young artists, musicians, dancers, students and teachers will also become part of the story, along with the city’s NGOs, civic organisations and communities. They’ll bring their own ideas and unique personalities, creating opportunities to bring people together around causes that matter.
There will be plenty to see, and art that is born right before your eyes. Music for your ears and space for good conversations. Games. Dance. Encounters. People. And a whole lot of cultural madness that we’re keeping secret for now.
You don’t have to do it all. In fact, you don’t even have to know where to start.
Come to the Palace!
The surprises are already in the making. Keep checking in and visit us often so you don’t miss the latest programme updates!
