The solo violin recital “Concertmaestro” will take place on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, starting at 7:00 PM, in the Small Hall of the Palace of Culture.
On stage, violinist Liviu Prunaru will perform, offering the audience an exceptionally virtuosic program.
The evening’s repertoire includes outstanding works from the solo violin literature: Johann Sebastian Bach’s Sonata No. 2 in A minor (BWV 1003), Henryk Wieniawski’s Études–Caprices Nos. 2 and 5, George Enescu’s Lăutarul, as well as a selection from Niccolò Paganini’s Caprices (Nos. 1, 5, 14, 20, and 24) .
