The Târgu Mureș State Philharmonic warmly invites music lovers to its choral concert, taking place on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, starting at 7:00 PM in the Grand Hall of the Palace of Culture
The event is titled: “The World of Sounds – A Journey into Choral Music”
The concert will feature the Mixed Choir of the Târgu Mureș State Philharmonic, conducted by Zsuzsa Katalin Albert. Joining the choir are Alexandra Colceriu-Dandu – soprano soloist, Miklós Móriczi – piano, Márton Kostyák – double bass, and Avar Gombocz – percussion
The evening’s program includes works by G. Rossini, P. Chesnokov, O. di Lasso, L. Donati, F. Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, Z. Kodály, A. Pop, T. Jarda, Ē. Ešenvalds, Gy. Orbán, M. Hayes, and B. Chilcott—musical pieces that will guide the audience through different styles and eras.
