The celebration of local traditions and customs

We invite you to discover the beauty and richness of the traditions and customs from Târnava Mare/ GAL Dealurile Târnavelor!
Event Program:
16:00 – Workshop (location: Community Resource Center – HubONG Saschiz) – presentation of a study on the intangible heritage of the GAL Dealurile Târnavelor territory, conducted by the Ethnography Section of the Mureș County Museum, Ethnography Section.
17:30 – PhotoEtnographic exhibition opening, outdoors (in the center of Saschiz) and visit to the stands of local craftsmen and artisans from the GAL DT communes.
18:00 – 20:00 Live performances - stage in the center of Saschiz:
- "Harvesting Custom" – Târnava Folkloric Group, from Țopa
- "Românașul" Folkloric Ensemble, Albești. Coordinators: Zaharie Stroian, Lazăr Stroian
- "Cununa Călimanilor" Ensemble, from Deda, Mureș County. Coordinator: Vasile Gabor
- Folk music performers: Lorena Filipescu, Vasilică Balogh
The stage program may be updated based on other confirmations for which invitations have been sent.
