The Transylvanian Reformed Museum welcomes you to the recently renovated Bethlen Castle in Bahnea, where the exhibition Two Castles One Family. The Bethlen family in Bahnea.
The exhibition presents the Bethlen family's presence in Bahnea, the history of their estates, their building works and their local church patronage. Visitors can learn about the history of the castle's construction and its builders through interactive displays, illustrated by some of the surviving objects from the former furnishings. Among the family members, the church patronage of Kata Bethlen the Orphan is highlighted, and her donations are shown in full for the first time. Animations play an important role in illustrating the content.
