Opening of a permanent exhibition

The Zoo is pleased to announce that the educational hall has been enriched with a permanent exhibition. Nearly 200 prepared animals will be exhibited, thus satisfying the scientific needs of visitors. A large part of the exhibition material was donated by Mr. Lajos Nagy, who provided the basic material for the exhibition with his impressive collection of 159 animals, representing various species from our country. Among the prepared animals are some that are difficult to observe in nature, protected, threatened with extinction, absent from the current collection of the Zoo, or, in some cases, already extinct from the local fauna.
