At the wheel of a Dacia 1300, Victoria, accompanied by the entity Alaska, embarks on a road trip through time and relives key moments from her own life, but also from the lives of her mother and daughter. Crossing the communist period, passing through the chaotic 90s and the uncertain period of the regime change, she reaches the present day. Through three female destinies, the play investigates the traces left in us by the communist past.
Elise Wilk’s latest piece was commissioned by Studio Yorick.
The play is in hungarian language, with romanian and english subtitles.
