SIMFEST is a film and television festival - competition, the only one of its kind in Romania and one of the few of its kind in Europe. It is organized every year by "SIMFEST Cultural Association for the support and promotion of creators in media and visual arts". SIMFEST campaigns for professionalism and freedom of expression for journalists and media creators. The festival also promotes local journalism and community media.
