Târgu Mureș Town Hall

Full description

The most important Neo-Romanian style construction was built between 1936 – 1942, in the time of the town’s first Romanian mayor, Emil Dandea. Initially, it was meant to replace the old Prefecture, which was no longer fit for the standards of the moment. However, starting with 1968, it changed destination and it became the headquarters of the Town Hall until now.
